Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Big Happy Family” will be coming to HSBC Arena on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30pm. This production features the silver-headed, plus size force of nature whose disciplinary attitude often sends her relatives running for cover. The play tells the story of Miss Shirley, an aging mother who has just received a diagnosis of terminal cancer. With the help of Madea she assembles her grown children and their significant others for a final gathering during which time loyalties are tested and unpleasant truths are spoiled. In a time of crisis, Madea puts the family's life in perspective with a hilarious twist on financial difficulties, drugs and most important family secrets.
