The World's Toughest Rodeo

Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey was added to the World’s Toughest Rodeo line-up that came to HSBC Arena on Saturday, March 3, 2007.

You might know Whiplash, the monkey that rides a Border collie dog, from several TV commercials. This famous monkey has also been voted PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) Dress Act of the year in both 2003 and 2004.  

The World’s Toughest Rodeo was non-stop thrills. To kick off the night, event specialists started the Bulls and Broncs competition; where bareback riders, saddle bronc riders, and bull riders competed against one another for individual event titles. 

The second half introduced an all-new breed of competitor into the rodeo; the Toughest Cowboy competition. Each of the eight Toughest Cowboy competitors got on two horses and one bull in a head to head challenge.

The Toughest Cowboy event was telecast nationally on Fox Sports Net.
