Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter John Mayer, with special guest Kathleen Edwards, made his way to HSBC Arena for one night only on Saturday, April 21, 2007.

Multi-Grammy award winner John Mayer is known for his versatile, smooth voice and funky hooks through his multi-platinum albums Room for Squares and Heavier Things; featuring the hit singles “Your Body is a Wonderland” and “Daughters”.  The guitar slinger continued to evolve as a musician with his album release Continuum.  The album’s hit single “Waiting on the World to Change” is the result of stripping down the sound, making for a soulful and cohesive compilation.

Opening on the tour was Ottawa native, Kathleen Edwards.  Touring in support of her sophomore album, Back To Me, Edwards has emerged as one of the most distinctive singer-songwriters since her debut album Failer in 2003.  Her country-rock style can be heard on her hit singles such as, “Six O'Clock News,” “One More Song The Radio Won't Like” and “Hockey Skates”.  Edwards has toured with acts such as The Stones, AC/DC and Bob Dylan.
